Quality Assurance Engineer / Supervisor
The Role – Principal Objectives:
Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity exists at Morgan Technical Ceramics Fairfield, NJ facility for a Quality Engineer/Supervisor. Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will be required to monitor and report product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process. The role requires a hands-on approach to quality engineering and the ability to clearly communicate requirements. The role will include training of personnel, evaluation and suggestion of process and procedural improvements and administrative functions as required. A working knowledge of ISO 9001 desired but not essential. CMM knowledge & general machine shop equipment knowledge a plus. Candidate must have good communication skills and a solid ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
The Person – Key Requirements:
Successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years quality or process engineering experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office. An Engineering related degree is required. Working AutoCAD experience a plus.
