We can supply materials for applications throughout your supply chain and have demonstrated success across many industries including aerospace, medical, power distribution and solar sectors.

Whether it is alumina, fused silica or Sillimantin, you can be confident that the ceramic materials and products we supply will provide excellent performance and exceptional quality thanks to stringent testing throughout the manufacturing process and complete material traceability. This, combined with our proven manufacturing capabilities ensures your products are delivered on time and on budget.

In demanding applications and extreme environments our products have delivered added value for many customers, if you are interested in any of our products, or would like to investigate potential uses for our ceramic materials, please contact us for further information.

Alsint

We offer 2 forms of Alsint, Alsint 99.7 and Alsint Porous. Alsint 99.7 is impervious and used in high temperature applications such as kiln construction. Alsint Porous has greater shock resistance than 99.7 and is frequently used for crucibles and ignition dishes.

Pythagoras (Mullite)

Mullite materials are available in 2 varieties, Pythagoras 1800 Z and Pythagoras. Pythagoras 1800 Z, is impervious and offer extremely high thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength whilst Pythagoras offers a highly economical mullite material for kiln applications.

Fused Silica

Fused Silica products offer good shock resistance and extremely low thermal expansion properties; as such it can be used at temperatures up to 1000⁰C continuously.

Silicon Carbide

Halsic silicon carbide materials can be purchased in 4 different forms and we also offer SiC, conventional clay bonded silicon carbide. Types of Halsic include:

  • Halsic I (SiSiC) – Silicon Infiltrated Reaction Bonded Silicon Carbide
  • Halsic S (SSiC) – Pressureless Sintered Silicon Carbide
  • Halsic R (RSiC) – Recrystallised Silicon Carbide
  • Halsic RS (RSiCdoped) – Chemically doped recrystallised Silicon Carbide

Silimantin

Silimantin ceramic materials are ideal for kiln applications and have been successfully deployed as rollers, kiln tubes and kiln construction. The 4 types of Silimantin include:

  • Silimantin 60 NG – Developed specifically for kiln manufacture
  • Silimantin 60 – Formed using moulding methods, frequently used in kiln designs
  • Silimantin 65 – Specially developed for use as rollers
  • Silimantin K S – An economical material for use as support tubes.

If you are interested in any of the products above, would like further details of how they could be utilised in your application or would like to discuss possible design prototypes or components please contact us and we will be happy to help.
